The complex oscillation of malonic acid(MA)and acetacetic ether(AA) as substrates was studied. The effects of surfactants,CTAB,SDS and Brij35 on this complex oscillation have been investigated. The experimental results indicate that the oscillation parameters of the MA-AA complex oscillation are between those of single substrate oscillations. Therefore, the complex oscillation has neutral characteristics.CTAB surfactant micelles increase the average induction period, average oscillation period, average time of the inhibitory phase while they decrease the average time of the autocatalytic phase and average oscillation amplitude.SDS micelles increase the average induction period, average oscillation period, the average time of the autocatalytic phase and average oscillation amplitude while they decrease the average time of the inhibitory phase.Brij35 micelles decrease the average induction period, average oscillation period, average time of the inhibitory phase, the average time of the autocatalytic phase and average oscillation amplitude. The microenvironment and characteristic of micelles are the main factors to influence the oscillations.
