Located near the site of Weiyuan battery in Humen, backing the mountain and facing the sea, the Naval Battle Museum stands between the old battery group in the north and Lingding Ocean in the south. Occupying an area of 15 hectares, its first phase project takes a building area of 7960 square metres. It is a memorial architectural complex with strong historic significance, ideological content and artistic quality. In design thinking, it reflects historical topic, local characteristic and the spirit of the times as the target. With the main exhibition hall as the centre, it forms a normal axis with the Binhai Road and lets the space alignment spread in successive order started with the sea, along the viewing terrace, swearing square, Tongguan bridge, main exhibition hall and the administrative building.
