This paper puts forword 11 cartographic generalization operator models and introduces their mathematical definitions,and thus a precise mathematical form and quantitative description has been given to these formerly limited qualitative concepts.The meaning of mathematical definition of operators for cartographic generalization and the application prospect in computer_aided cartography (CAC) is stated.ract The Jurassic strata in Jingyan of Sichuan containing the Mamenchinsaurus fauna are dealt with and divided in this paper. The Mamenchisaurus fossils contained there are compared in morphological features and stratigraphically with other types of the genus on by one. The comprehensive analysis show that the Mamenchisaurus fauna of Jingyan appeared in the early Late Jurassic and is primitive in morphology. The results of the morphological identification and stratigraphical study agree with each other. Their evolutionary processes in different apoches of the Late Jurassic also made clear. Sand casting process ad directional solidification technique combining thermal-rate treatment(TRT) were used.The influence of process parameters on TRT was investigated according to the values of impact toughness.At the same time,the mechanism of TRT was discussed.The results showed that TRT can improve the impact toughness of this alloy,while the hardness is basically constant.The time of heat preservation should not be more than 5 min.Different forms of cooling intensification additive have different effects among which the zinc ingot solidified in graphite mold is the best one that can improve impact toughness of samples by more than 80%.With increasing the cooling temperature,the value of α(Al)crystal lattice constant increases.The element Sb has negative effect on TRT.
This paper first develops the approaches to determine the geopotential of the local mean sea level,and then investigates the offset of the 1985 vertical datum surface defined by the mean sea level of Yellow Sea at the Dagang Tide Gauge in Qingdao city using the developed approaches and GPS/leveling data.It shows that the geopotential of the local mean sea level at the tide gauge is equal to 62 636 853.5±0.2 m2·s -2 and that the 1985 vertical datum surface is 24.6±5.4 cm above the geoid realized by the geopotential W 0= 62 636 856.0±0.5 m2·s -2.
In this paper an integrated geological and geochemical comparison is made of Carlin-type and Carlin-like-type gold deposits in the region of South Qinling with their associated hydro-thermal sedimentary lead-zinc deposits, the Carlin-type deposits in the Yunnan-Guizhou-Guan-gxi gold triangle, China, the Carlin gold deposits, Carlin, western United States, and the Mu-runtau-type gold deposits in Uzbekistan. The comparative study indicates that the formation ofthese deposits has an intimate coupling relation with the mechanism of the tectonic movement ofmodern plates. Therefore, these deposits belong to those that were formed in the orogenic stage.They have the following similar characteristics: they are all sediment-hosted, occur in a tectonicenvironment of extensional rifting nature and show the characteristics of syngenetically modifiedmineralization. On the other hand, they also have noticeable differences: they are different inrespect to their tectonic settings, association and structure of orogenic belts and complexity andstrength of the modified mineralization. The regional tectonic evolution and extensive mineraliza-tion in orogenic belts are different expressions of the same continental dynamic process.
