The voltammetic property of amikacin was studied by cyclic voltammetery and differential pulse cathode stripping voltammetry at glassy carbon electrod. In HCl(pH=2) solution, the sensitive reductive peak was obtained for amikacin at about-0.42V(vs.Ag/AgCl).There was a good linear relationship between the differential pulse peak current and the concentrate of Amikacin sulfate in the range from 1.25 10-6mol/L to 9.5 10-4 mol/L.The detection limit was 2.75×10-7mol/L.The method was used to determine amikacin in injection samples with satisfactory results.
