Objective: To explore the sleep characteristics of patients with sleep apnea/hypopnea syndrome (SAHS). Methods: Ninety adult patients with SAHS were evaluated with polysomnogram (PSG) and BMI. Results: The PSG confirmed the presence of a disrupted sleep pattern in SAHS. The sleep efficiency, REM period, hypopnea index, arterial SaO2 in wakeing time and variance of heart rate were significantly different among three groups with different BMI( P <0.05). Conclusion:Different BMI may affect the sleep quality and oxygen saturation in patients with SAHS.
Objective:To understand the change of cogn itive function in type Ⅰand Ⅱschizophrenic patients after Clozapine treatment.Methods:Forty-six four-week during free patients met with the criteria of schizop hrenia were included in this study .Twenty-eight of these patients were diagnosed as type Ⅱshizophrenia. WCST,SAPS ,SANS and PANSS were used to assess these patients before and after eight weeks Clozapine treatment. R esults:Total trails to four categories (TT),Persistent error s (PE) and non-persistent errors (NPE) of WCST improved significantly after Clozapine treatment. Conclusion:The results revealed significant cognitive defi cits in type Iand II schi zophrenic patients, which were significantly improved by clozaoine treatment.
