DOV216303 was synthesized via six procedures starting from 3,4-dichlorophenylacetic acid in an overall yield of 14%.The structure of the target compound was confirmed by 1H-NMR and MS.This improved method could avoid the usage of the expensive reagents,reduce the cost and increase the total yield.
