A hundred and four patients suffering from DPN were divided at random into needle drug group and control group with 52 cases in each group for a pair. In needle drug group, treatment was employed deep insertion with long needle as a main therapy combinating with point injection of “snow lotus”. While in control group, treatment was adopted by oral administrating of methyl cobalamiin. After 2 months of therapy, the results of glucolipide metabolism and nitric oxide examinated between two groups were compared as follows:FBG,IAI,TG and NO in needle drug group exceeded that of in control group, while there was no significant difference between two groups in INS,HBA1C and CHOL. It suggested that method of reinforicng the kidney and smoothing the colaterals by combination of needle and drug can partly correct the disturbance of glucolipide metabolism and improve the vascularization of patients suffering from Diabetic Peripheral Nouropathy.
