Samuel Beckett’s Endgame serves a story of four incomplete characters and their tedious talks over a long time. In the historical environment of cold war, the incompleteness of those men coincidentally reflects the trauma left during that period. Beckett has set an order-and-action relationship, rounding up the two characters- Hamm and Clov. Tedious talks of four heroes are like the wars, once ended by people's emptiness and exhaustion, will come back again for another ridiculous purpose.
