The evaluation of landscape resources is the basis of tourism development. The traditional aesthetic value assessment of forest landscape mainly focuses on the visual perception, but the auditory perception is usually ignored. In fact, the esthetics artistic conception is not complete without each sense. With a case study on the National Forestry Park of Mount Sanzhualun in Jiangxi Province, the investigation and analysis of the soundscape resources are made in this research. The forest soundscape resources are classified into six types, mainly including water soundscape, rain soundscape, birds' soundscape, leaf soundscape, insects' soundscape and wind soundscape. Furthermore, the concept, content and rule of forest soundscape resources are defined so as to provide significant references for the more advantageous development, utilization and management of the forest landscape resources.
