The 1.0%Al2O3/Cu(mass fraction) composite was prepared by hot pressing(HP),then treated by rolling to get a full density. The microstructures and the micro area element distribution of the composite were analyzed by SEM. The density,electric conductivity and tensile strength were also investigated. The experimental results show that the alumina particles are more dispersed and become smaller through a single-pass rolling. The pore existing in the composite is eliminated or closed under the rolling force. The relative density increases from 98.4% to 99.2%. The electric conductivity increases from 88.9%IACS to 91.2%IACS. The tensile strength is increased by 47% from 300 MPa to 440 MPa.

Kinetic characteristics of liquid phase sintering of mechanically activated W-15wt%Cu powder被引量:8

The kinetic characteristics of W grain growth operated by diffusion controlled Oswald ripening (DOR) during liquid phase sintering were studied. A liquid phase sintering of W-15wt%Cu was carried out by pushing compacts into a furnace at the moment when the temperature increased to 1340℃ for different sintering times. The results show that liquid phase sintering produces the compacts with considerably low relative density and inversely, rather high homogeneity. On the basis of the data extracted from the SEM images, the kinetic equation of W grain growth, G^n = G0^n + kt, is determined in which the grain growth exponent n is 3 and the grain growth rate constant k is 0.15 μm^3/s. The cumulative normalized grain size distributions produced by different sintering times show self-similar. The cumulative distribution function is extracted from the curves by non-linear fitting. In addition, the sintering kinetic characteristics of W-15wt%Cu compacts were also investigated.

Spark plasma sintering on mechanically activated W-Cu powders被引量:8

Mechanically activated W-Cu powders were sintered by a spark plasma sinteringsystem (SPS) in order to develop a new process and improve the properties of the alloy. Propertiessuch as density and hardness were measured. The microstructures of the sintered W-Cu alloy sampleswere observed by SEM (scanning electron microscope). The results show that spark plasma sinteringcan obviously lower the sintering temperature and increase the density of the alloy. This processcan also improve the hardness of the alloy. SPS is an effective method to obtain W-Cu powders withhigh density and superior physical properties.

为了改善制备工艺和提高W-Cu合金的密度与性能,对原料粉末进行了机械活化处 理,通过成形和烧结制备了W-Cu合金,考察了活化后粉末的变化,观察了合金的烧结组织并 测量了密度.结果表明,机械活化能增大钨铜粉末的表面能和晶格畸变能,有效地促进烧结,改 善烧结组织;烧结体中存在大量团絮状组织,团粒内部钨颗粒主要以固相方式烧结在一起,而 团粒之间则以液相烧结为主.烧结组织细密、均匀,相对密度达98%以上;烧结组织中钨铜两相 在微米尺度下仍然结合良好,部分界面出现了互溶.

为了改善工艺与提高W Cu合金的密度及性能 ,在对原料粉末进行机械活化处理后进行压力烧结 ,包括加压烧结与气压烧结 ,制备出W Cu合金 ,考察其烧结合金的组织与性能。结果表明 ,机械活化能有效的促进烧结。加压烧结与气压烧结都能够有效地促进合金的致密化。加压烧结时 ,在加压方向上有明显的收缩 ,但在与加压垂直的方向上却略有膨胀。而气压烧结则可以使合金在各个方向上收缩。烧结组织细密、均匀 ,相对密度达 98%以上。压力烧结是提高W Cu合金密度的有效手段。

热压与放电等离子体烧结两种工艺制备Al_2O_3/Cu复合材料被引量:16

由机械合金化法(MA)制得纳米级Al2O3颗粒弥散镶嵌于微米级Cu颗粒表面的复合粉末,利用球形化工艺改善所制得复合粉的形貌及粒度范围,分别采用热压法(HP)和放电等离子体烧结(SPS)法制备Al2O3/Cu复合材料。通过测试密度、电导率、抗弯强度及SEM复合粉形貌和烧结体断口分析、微区成分分析,对比研究了Al2O3质量分数分别为0%、0.5%、1.0%、1.5%时Al2O3/Cu复合材料的物理、力学和电学性能。结果表明:不同制备工艺下随着Al2O3含量增加,材料的抗弯强度先增后降,电导率除受杂质影响外,还受材料缺陷的影响,故变化规律不明显,对于Al2O3含量相同的Al2O3/Cu复合材料,采用SPS法制备的复合材料的致密度、抗弯强度及电导率均高于HP法;在弯曲应力下两种制备方法所得复合材料均发生延性断裂。

Pressure sintering of W-15wt.%Cu alloys prepared by mechanical alloying as a subsequent densification treatment method被引量:9

The sintered W-15wt.%Cu alloys fabricated by mechanical alloying were re-sintered under pressure to increase the density and improve the properties of these alloys. The pressure was applied vertically along the axis of the sintered sample. Properties such as density, hardness, and bending strength were measured. The microstructures of the sintered bodies were observed. The results showed that the subsequent pressure sintering could increase the density of the sintered W-15wt.%Cu alloys. Their hardness, bending strength, and some other physical properties were also improved by this subsequent densification treatment.

采用放电等离子烧结(SPS)设备制备了93W-5·6Ni-1·4Fe高比重合金,烧结温度范围为1100~1180℃,保温时间为5min.对不同烧结温度下的样品进行了密度、硬度、抗弯强度等性能测试,采用场发射SEM观察了样品表面形貌及断裂行为.结果表明:采用SPS烧结,可以在较低的温度下实现93W-5·6Ni-1·4Fe高比重合金的固相烧结,使合金致密化,并能有效控制钨晶粒长大,提高材料的硬度、抗弯强度等力学性能.
