[ Objective] The research aimed to discuss the tetramycin-inducad resistance and its mechanism in order to provide basis for better application in the production. [ Methedl Taking rice blast as the control object, the impacts of tetramycin on the activity of PAL, POD, PPO and SOD in rice leaves were studied. [Result] The activity of PAL, POD and PPO in rice leaves were significantly increased after spraying tetramycin. The activity of enzyme in the treatment of inoculation after spraying terramycin for 24 h increased most obviously. The activity of SOD had no significant difference among different treatments. [ Condesion] Terramycin not only has strong antimicrobial effect, but also might enhance disease resistance in order to prevent pathogen infection through inducing the activity of rice defense enzyme.
