Interactive Oxidation of Photocatalysis and Electrocatalysis for Degradation of Phenol in a Photoreactor

TiO2/C particles as photocatalyst were prepared by dipping TiO2 suspension solution with activated carbon and were applied in the photocatalytic-electrocatalytic degradation of phenol, the Ti/SnO2+Sb2O3/PbO2 electrode and oxygen diffusion electrode were used as anode and cathode respectively, and a 250 W ultraviolet lamp (365 nm) as side light source. The SEM results of TiO2/C and Ti/SnO2+Sb2O3/PbO2 anode indicated that the TiO2 on carbon particles was uniform and PbO2 film on the surface of anode was in cauliflower form, the XRD result of oxygen diffusion electrode showed that only crystalline graphite was found. The influential parameters of degradation process such as applied cell voltage (E), initial concentration of phenol (C0), amount of TiO2 catalyst and air flow rate (v) were discussed. Under the following experimental conditions of C0=50 mg/L, pH=6, E=2 V, TiO2 0.98 mg/mL, v=382.2 mL/min, and light intensity I=10.5 mW/cm2, phenol could be entirely degraded, and about 89% of total organic carbon (TOC) was removed after 3 h degradation.

Cu-Sn-TiO_2复合光催化剂对水中苯酚降解的研究被引量:1

采用硬脂酸法制备了一种新型的Cu-Sn-TiO2三元复合光催化剂,并采用XRD研究了复合催化剂的物相,且以苯酚为目标降解物对其光催化活性进行了评价。结果表明,经500℃焙烧的Cu-Sn-TiO2催化剂的晶型为锐钛矿型,并具有较高的光催化活性,以摩尔比n(Cu)∶n(Sn)∶n(Ti)=0.25∶5∶100为最佳,光催化反应3 h时苯酚的降解率达97.1%。

高铁酸钾同时降解微污染水中苯酚和Cr(Ⅵ)的研究被引量:18

研究了高铁酸钾同时去除微污染水中苯酚和Cr(Ⅵ).利用静态试验,分析了去除效果的影响因素,并初步探讨了其降解机理.结果表明,高铁酸钾氧化-絮凝协同去除Cr(Ⅵ)、苯酚和CODMn在氧化pH值为4.0,氧化时间20min,絮凝pH值为7.0,絮凝时间30min,高铁酸钾与苯酚的质量比为10:1的最佳条件下,Cr(Ⅵ)、苯酚、CODMn的去除率分别达到84.41%、28.33%、23.34%.说明高铁酸钾是一种可高效去除微污染水中Cr(Ⅵ)的水处理剂.

转化沉淀法制备可见光光催化剂Ag_3PO_4的研究

采用转化沉淀法制备了一种新型可见光Ag3PO4光催化剂,并采用XRD、UV-vis、SEM及EDS等手段对其进行了表征。以水中甲基橙的降解为探针反应,在可见光照射下考察了制备过程中NaHCO3与K2HPO4的加入量对Ag3PO4光催化活性的影响,并在可见光及太阳光照射下将Ag3PO4与P25-TiO2的光催化活性进行了对比。实验结果表明,Ag3PO4在整个可见光谱范围内均有明显的吸收;在可见光及太阳光照射下Ag3PO4对甲基橙均具有较高光催化降解活性,且在同等条件下Ag3PO4的光催化活性明显高于P25-TiO2。

过渡金属(Fe,Co,Ni,Zn)掺杂金红石TiO_2的电子结构和光学性质被引量:6

采用基于密度泛函理论的第一性原理方法对未掺杂以及不同浓度过渡金属Fe,Co,Ni,Zn掺杂金红石TiO_2的超晶胞体系进行了几何优化,并讨论了其晶格常数,电子能带结构和光学性质.研究结果表明:掺杂前后的晶格参数与实验值偏差在3.6%以下;适量的过渡金属掺杂不但影响体系能带结构,拓宽光吸收范围,而且扮演着俘获电子的重要角色,有利于光生电子-空穴对的有效分离以及增强光吸收能力;Fe,Co,Ni,Zn最佳理论掺杂体系分别为T_(0.75)Fe_(0.25)O_2,Ti_(0.75)Co_(0.25)O_2,Ti_(0.75)Ni_(0.25)O_2,Ti_(0.83)Zn_(0.17)O_2;Fe,Co,Ni 3d态分裂为t2g和eg态,分别贡献于价带高能级和导带低能级部分,促进了电子-空穴对的生成,从而可提高TiO_2的光催化性能;Zn 3d态电子成对填满轨道,不易被激发,故光催化活性无明显提高.

Photoelectrocatalytic activity of two antimony doped SnO_2 films for oxidation of phenol pollutants被引量:3

Two types of Sb-doped SnO2 films on titanium substrate were prepared by the combination of electro-deposition and dip-coating (Ti/SnO2-Sb2O4/SnO2-Sb2O4) and single dip-coating (Ti/SnO2-Sb2O4), respectively. The surface morphology and crystalline structure of both film electrodes were characterized using X-ray diffractometry(XRD) and scanning electron microscopy(SEM). XRD spectra indicate that the rutile SnO2 forms in two films and a TiO2 crystallite exists only in Ti/SnO2-Sb2O4 electrode. SEM images show that the surface morphology of two films is typically cracked-mud structure. The photooxidation experiment was proceeded to further confirm the two electrode activity. The results show that the photoelectrocatalytic degradation efficiency of Ti/SnO2-Sb2O4 electrode with sub-layer is higher than that of simple Ti/SnO2-Sb2O4 electrode using phenol as a model organic pollutant. The Ti/SnO2-Sb2O4/SnO2-Sb2O4 photoanode has a better photoelectrochemical performance than Ti/SnO2-Sb2O4 photoanode for the removal of organic pollutants from water.

Preparation and photocatalytic activity of BiOCl catalyst被引量:3

The BiOCl powders prepared by the hydrolysis method were investigated with the X-ray diffractometry(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and differential thermal analysis(TG?DTA).The results show that the powders are of the tetragonal primitive crystal structure,composed of homogeneous particles of fine ferrite plates,and stable in the temperature range of 40?600 ℃.In addition,the photocatalytic activity of BiOCl powders was evaluated by methyl orange(MO) in aqueous solution illuminated by xenon-lamp,and the effect of the BiOCl amount on the photocatalytic activity was investigated.Moreover,the photocatalytic properties of BiOCl and TiO2-P25 were also compared.The results show that the favorite amount of BiOCl powders is 1.0 g/L for the MO degradation,and the photocatalytic activity of the BiOCl catalyst is comparable to the TiO2-P25 catalyst under the same experiment condition.
